About me

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the department of telecommunication and information processing (TELIN) at Ghent University. I am working with Prof. Fiems in stochastic modeling and analysis of communication systems (SMACS) group. I obtained my masters degree in Industrial engineering and opreations research (IEOR) (2012-2014) from the Indian institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

My research interests broadly lie in Queueing systems, Stochastic modelling, Wireless sensor networks (WSNs), Markov decision process (MDP) and Game Theory. In large scale WSNs, my recent focus is on developing the analytical model using approximation techniques such as heavy-traffic limits, fluid and diffusion limits, and mean field approximations. I also work on stochastic modelling of underwater wireless sensor networks.
